This is a great drone for existing drone flyers to move up to. I moved up from my DJI Mini 3 Pro drone so I already knew the basics of flying and drone videos. I would not recommend this for first time drone pilots. The Hasselblad camera with three lenses is spectacular with both auto and pro (manual) settings. The photo quality is incredible. The controller is the top of the line with a crystal clear screen and various customization options. Best of all this is a professional level aircraft with way too many options to list. For me one of the highlights is the ability to pre-program flights so complicated maneuvers are handled by the software and are always perfect. With the three intelligent batteries you have about two hours of flying time. Charging is a bit slow so always start with the batteries fully charged. I added a polarizing filter, a two level carrying case and a second, faster, battery charger so I’ll have one at home and one in my carrying case at all times. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny.

I’ve had the Air 2s for a couple years, and it’s a great drone in itself. But the newer features in the Mavic 3 Pro feel like a huge upgrade.- Flight time. Although I bought the Flymore Combo (separately) you may not even need multiple batteries. I’m getting around 35 minutes real world flight time from each battery.- The multiple focal lengths give you a lot of flexibility.- The visual overlay of the home point makes is super simple to find where you launched from when in the sky.

The mavic 3 pro is one of the best flagship drone available to date. I’m happy that I bought it. Now I have the air 3 and the mavic 3 pro they are both top of the line drones.
A. Cost –
I have been wanting this drone for a long time, and it ended up being a perfect time when it showed up as a warehouse deal due to the box being damaged. Per the description, the box was damaged, but the item showed only minor scuffs. I purchased and received it. Upon registering the drone I attempted to get the DJI care and discovered that Amazon activated it to make sure it worked, unfortunately it started the clock to get the warranty. I got it at 106 days from activation. I was able to contact DJI and provide an invoice and a video verification that it had not been used other than activation, and it was in perfect condition, so they allowed me to purchase the DJI care. With the expense of the Mavic 3 Pro it was needed. I love this thing only an hour in. I might have to get the enterprise model in the near future.

Do not buy from this seller. You’ll pay 4k and then spend another $500 plus’s just to fly more than 15 minutes. I was a little confused that the package (not the Amazon packing) wasn’t sealed. Everything still looked new and didn’t give me any issues to activate or register but it was missing one of the batteries.10-17-23 update. So after spending a free day with the drone a lot has come up. Bottom LED light does not work, was missing one battery and out of the two I did get one will not charge more the 50% and the other while saying fully charged only gets about 15-20 of flight. At this point I’d be happy to have one good battery. Zero response to getting missing parts, or refund of any kind. Been flying DJI since before mavic even existed so not a manufacturer I’d expect this from. I’m going to guess it’s a seller issue.

Using this for highschool live broadcasting. Amazing picture and transmission quality. Drone gets about 34M of battery life per charge with typical gameplay follow under 10mph wind speed. I spent more money on a lesser knock off drone and kicking myself for not purchasing this first. Do yourself a favor. Buy this first. Or go phone a friend that has one. Fly it for 10 min during the day and 10 min at night and see the difference in optics the Mavic 3 Pro brings.

I absolutely loved the cameras. They are spectacular and the 7X Zoom controlled by your right forefinger is very easy. I hated giving this unit up but it bothered me and when I feel something is wrong with a brand new unit I can’t see keeping it and continually worrying about it. The control told me frequently that my signal was weak and I needed to adjust my antenna. There was one occasion when the unit would not respond to the controller. It would not land and it was within 6 feet of me. It also would not rotate. Having it about 1000 feet away in a clear and open area with no obstruction having it tell me the signal was weak and not wanting to respond made me think something is wrong with the unit. It’s new and that shouldn’t happen.
